Above all, the search after truth and its eager pursuit are peculiar to man. And so, when we have leisure from the demands of business cares, we are eager to see, to hear, to learn something new, and we esteem a desire to know.

If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.

C.S. Lewis

To love means loving the unlovable. To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable. Faith means believing the unbelievable. Hope means hoping when everything seems hopeless.

As a lover of stories, true and mostly true, my educational focus, as both a student and as a teacher, has concentrated on writing, literature, film, popular music, and history.

My favorite technology for personal use includes social media sites, blogs, video streaming services, and music apps.

As a teacher, I rely upon Google Docs for posting assignments, collaborating with colleagues, and receiving/correcting student work. Zoom video conferencing is another favorite. It not only allows me to connect with my students on non-class days, but it also allows me to collaborate with peers, locally and nationally. YouTube has been invaluable for providing supplementary materials across multiple subjects. Our school has its own channel where teachers post video demonstrations to support students and parents in their work at home.
